Flat pack bar
A flat pack bar in birch plywood, assembled in minutes
A good flat pack bar does one thing perfectly: it disappears when you don't need it. BarPliabil is a fully demountable bar built from birch plywood and CNC-cut by Class Knauf Design in Romania. You set it up anywhere in minutes without tools, and at the end it packs down into a flat case you can carry on your own.
If you're looking for a flat pack bar for sale — not a hire service for one night — this is a product you buy once and keep, from one event to the next, for years.

What a flat pack bar actually is
Unlike a fixed bar or a heavy counter that takes up permanent space, a flat pack bar is designed to be demountable: the panels slot together and come apart again with no screws in the structure. The same bar serves you in a café today, at a market tomorrow, and then stores flat in a corner without blocking your stockroom.
For a mobile operator — specialty coffee, ice cream, fresh juices, street food — packing flat isn't a gimmick. It's the difference between hauling a piece of furniture and carrying a case.
Built from 18 mm birch plywood
The material is 18 mm birch plywood, a stable laminated wood that doesn't warp under repeated transport and looks clean left natural. The joints are keyed-tenon — they drop in by hand and lock themselves, with no visible screws in the load-bearing structure. Every part is CNC-cut to a tenth of a millimetre, so the panels fit identically every time, however often you assemble and take down the bar.
The result is a plywood flat pack bar that doesn't feel disposable: it has the weight and solidity of real furniture, with the transport logic of a flat parcel.
Packs flat, travels light
Taken apart, the bar fits into a flat parcel of roughly 130 × 65 × 14 cm and weighs around 90 kg assembled. It slots into an estate car, a small van or onto a pallet — no trailer, no two people on every corner. When the event is over, you pack it back down and store it upright, taking up about as much room as a worktop leaned against a wall.
Finishes and branding
As standard the bar comes in natural birch, white or black. On request we match any RAL code and add your branding — engraved, printed or painted on the front face. Also on request, we cut openings in the worktop for an espresso machine, a sink or other equipment, so the bar fits your exact workflow.
